The Moth
This afternoon, Steve found a really cool moth on the ground.
The pictures explain it all....
The top side, the underneath, and then Steve put it back in a tree for safety.
It's the Lunesta (pill) moth!
God's creatures are amazing!

Sign Camp 2007
Living Springs
Untied Methodist Church Camp in Lewistown, IL
Sign Camp is made up of many components - all of which are FUN!
All week long there are sign language classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced signers. In conjunction with the classes, there are campers that are Deaf working on Bible study. We did crafts, played games, watched movies, went swimming in the pool NOT the lake, and socialized more than anything else! We also cooked out and had a "hay" ride this year. Silent Day was Thursday and no one was allowed to talk....okay we tried not to talk! Chris stated that when hearing people are around, he just can't help voicing - it's just habit! Ashley and I (from the same church/town) had fun....She had a ton of fun teasing and picking on Curt and googling over the cute boys that worked at the camp. If you see her, ask her the reason behind her sign name!
In about a week Jesse will be heading off to his camp....I bet he will also have fun!

Tae Kwon Do Testing 7/7/07
Jesse had his first ever test in Tae Kwon Do for his Orange Belt and he did wonderful! We were so proud of him! I couldn't imagine standing in front of the judges which were his instructor and a Master of Tae Kwon Do (which happen to be Steve's old instructor) with two of my peers and proceed through the white belt form and 1 and 2 steps. On the 12th he received his actual Orange Belt....he was EXCITED!
Great Job Jesse!
We Love YOU!

Meet the Kids
Since we started this blog we'll start by introducing the kids.
Jesse turned 9 this summer and is ready for 4th grade this fall. He is an avid Pokemon lover and is testing on July 7th for his orange belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Myah is a whole lot of three and a half. She was born in Guiping, Guangxi China and became a Wright on April 4, 2005. She has made our family complete and oh so interesting!
Both of our kids are a blessing!
So different, yet so much alike!
